- Can't wait for my new book to get here - "Crazy Love", heard some great things about it.
- I get hooked on books too easily, need to make sure I remain in the Word also. Starting in Romans. I don't read it too often because it is difficult for me to grasp. What a great message though!
- I have been listening to some Chuck Missler podcasts. He has a series on Halloween that is pretty good, and now beginning a series on the book of Daniel. He is one of the most respected teachers on prophecy, so I am looking forward to the study. He just happens to be from Post Falls, and you can even join his studies in person during the week. I am also interested in R.C. Sprouls teachings on the end times as he seems to agree with the unpopular belief that we have been in the tribulation since 70 A.D. This is also the belief of our pastor, and he did nearly a year long series on it at church that would be very difficult to argue.
- Invited the mormons back for a "discussion", wish I knew more scripture to share with them.
- So tired, but I can't go to bed until I finish working on a computer at work (remotely that is).
- Irony at its best: Pittsburg Steelers - or should we say "Stealers".
- I have a pile of dirt that needs to get moved before snow flies, because it is in the way of the snow plow. Then I have a pump house that is half way dug up. I was trying to get it dug up and sealed with tar around the foundation before winter so it would quit flooding in the spring, but it not only looks like I won't be able to finish the digging with the weather being so cold, but now I have to figure out what to do with this huge hole I dug around the pump house. If I leave it dug up, the pump house will really fill up with water once the snow begins to melt.
- Got the snow tires/wheels on both vehicles. I really don't like winter.
- The computer is now finished, so I am ending this early and going to bed!

I have not read crazy love yet, someone is hoarding the book. =) I did buy Francis Chan's new book this weekend, Forgotton God, and it talks about the Holy Spirit, or lack thereof, in our lives-right up your alley! You can podcast him too-he has a sermon about anguish, that is really good.
You need to take some time off!
That way you can get all your pojects done and see the family before work gets really busy in a few weeks...
Lance??
You're reading?? =)
My mom just finished crazy love and I was reading parts of it just yesterday! You won't be disappointed, it looks like a great read and a pretty short book, that's always nice for me!Really neat guy!
Do you have studs on your tires? I keep being worried our tires won't be good enough, but the tire shops say it will be fine, so it must, I'm just so used to having REALLY good tires during the winter, not use to this 4WD stuff!
Shelby,
I put studded on the yukon, but only because I have two sets of wheels - one for winter. I have two sets of wheels for the car and ironically just got good snow tires with now studs on it. If you have 4-wheel drive and all seasons, you will be fine except for the ice. If you have not done 4-wheel drive before, you will be amazed at the difference.
I've not spent much time beyond Romans 1 but I think it is a fascinating description of the Genesis account of the fall and subsequent decline of man into depravity just before the flood.
Paul is giving the Romans an "origin of sin" tutorial. Which makes sense in that they would have been primarily gentiles and not familiar with Hebrew writings.
Have fun!
Heather
