No one really does much in blogland these days. Ok, so maybe they do and I just haven't noticed. I miss my family blog though...where did my wife go? At any rate, my blogging has also not been so frequent. Some day I will get back to using this for my scriptural studies and thoughts, but I continually get myself into trouble, so I have kept quiet for a while now. I even turned down giving a message at church a few weeks ago. Long story short, I have shrunk to a place of inferiority (?); feeling like a fool. The deeper I get into scriptures, the more I love it, and the more I feel inadequate to teach it. And quite honestly, this year has been rough. Bible study lasted through May or June, but work stole my life this year.
I got my results back from my wellness checkup and passed everything except cholesterol. Apparently my gluttony has consequences...ugh. Now that I am off pop, I have to start eating healthy or pay for it in the near future. I have six months to shape up before the next test.
Work has been so awesome! One of the hardest years, but ending well. I really can't believe the difference...9 or 10 really hard months, but the hard work is paying off. We haven't had after hours, weekends, or crazy busy days in a couple of months now. We still have a lot to do to finish everything we want to do, but we have "stabilized" the patient as my coworker would say.
We really need that baby to come this year, but I guess God knows what we need. If it waits until January, our deductible ($2000) starts over, and we also lose our tax break. Bad timing!
That's about it for now. Looking forward to vacation in a week, and maybe a baby at the same time!

Just pray baby comes before the 27th of December. Never hurts to ask, right?
I will ask on your behalf too.
I remember being sure that Rowan was coming on Christmas even though I had prayed for months it wouldn't happen. On my last checkup(morn of my due date) I was feeling fine and had resigned myself to the fact that I would be in the hospital 5 days later(christmas). Well, At about 11:34 that same night, I had another son.
SHelby prayed Preston would be early and he was 3 weeks early.
Just pray Lyle! (And buy her castor oil.) *wink**wink*
